Not sure if this fight happens. Loma was 137 on fight night vs Walters, vs 136 on fight night vs Salido. He's not getting much bigger, just fighting at 130 vs 126 before.

Loma needs to get bigger to make another weight jump, and as he says, would take him a year to do it properly so that he starts to weigh more than 136/137 on fight night (else he will just be fighting bigger guys).

Meantime Garcia is coming back to 135 from around 140. Not so long ago he was fighting at 130, then recently around the 140 (primarily due to the inactivity) so 135 might be his optimum weight right now once he's active again and he may stay there long enough for Loma to meet up with him at 135.

As long as the promoters don't get in the way again, would indeed be a great fight - Garcia showed previously he belonged in elite company, and no reason to believe thats changed (he needs more fights to get that sharpness to max though).

I think realistically Garcia vs Loma is the better more even fight that could be made at 135. I would prefer to this fight versus Loma fight Manny.

Maybe he should beat Salido first?
Isnt he ashamed that someone like Salido beat his a*s, Salido will always be his daddy until he wins in a rematch

Yea your right...The person that has the best chance of beating Crawford is a Maidana type. But ONLY if they don't have a Floyd Bayless Jr. refereeing the fight. They need a referee like the one in the Ward/Kovalov fight to win. I think Pac has a good shot of beating Crawford with a ref. that doesn't break up fighters. OUt of everyone around that weight class??? Spence and Pac. is my best bets.

Chavez Sr. was a great boxer. Probably a top 10 in the ATG list, at the very least in the weight divisions he fought in his prime, when he was undefeated.

But when he opens his mouth as a commentator, it is a totally different thing. He utters ******ity many a time.

Lomachenko-Rigondeaux would not be a stinker. On the contrary it would be an awesome fight. I think it can even be a successful PPV event. Lomachenko IS NOT a defensive runner like Rigo is. He is a very intelligent offensive fighter. There would be action in such a fight, no doubt about it.

Because of his style, many people really want to see Rigondeaux defeated, humiliated and possibly KO'd.

Lomachenko is one of the very, very few people capable of doing that. Even more so than "Chocolatito" IMO.

It would be an incredible fight at 130. Defeating Rigondeaux, a feat nobody has been even close to achieve, would really lift up Lomachenko to the top five P4P. In fact, if he defeated Rigondeaux by either KO or by a wide decision, with at least one knock down and really damaging Rigo's face, then, to me, no doubt that Lomachenko would be the #1 P4P fighter.

After such a feat he could, just for fun, fight and easily KO Salido, just to settle the score.

Chavez Sr. should just shut up and try to help his own Jr. boy be back on track, instead of proposing ridiculous match-ups!
