Lucas Matthysse will train in the USA for 2017 bout.

Source is a local small tv show to which Lucas gave an interview recently and stated he's going to California soon to train for a 2017 bout.

Good news. December 12nd he's going to the USA to finish the details of the deal.

He's already getting fit and strong for the 147 division.

He can still do a lot in the sport. He just needs to be sure the match making is smart. If he's going after money fights, they either need to be with punchers, or someone that will make a loss financially worthwhile, like Pac.

I feel like he needs a few confidence builders and maybe even a regional title. That Postol defeat did a lot to him. I agree with the poster above, a guy like cano is a good place to start.

Chino retired so it makes total sense that Robert Garcia will now train Lucas

Stick a fork in him, Lucas is done. Garcia showed the cracks in his heart and Molina widened them up. Postol took his soul.

he'll end up slightly better than Ortiz
