I have no doubt that Saunders can catch Golovkin

I have no doubt that he can outbox Golovkin

I just have doubts that he can do it for 12 rounds


Saunders is not the typical style that Golovkin enjoys fighting

Golovkin only fights guys who are " available ", if Golovkin can land on them, then he will fight them..... which is why Team Bullshht have made no real effort to make that fight, including low-balling BJS with that 1.5mil offer.

He clearly aint top of their list.

Saunders is not an elite mover/spoiler, like Ward/Lara..... so they would likely take that fight if the circumstances were right...... but it is clearly obvious that Team Bullshht would prefer 2mil for beating another no-hoper, just to keep the train rolling

That is why I highly doubt that Golovkin/Jacobs will happen.

Billy, first you actually have to fight rather than delay a fight, yet again. Then you can talk about Golovkin. Don't catch another injury kid.

GGG's defence depends a lot on the other guys ability to hurt him. He clearly gave Lemieux's power a lot of respect, so he tightened his defence in that one and Lemieux didn't catch him with much at all.

If he felt Saunders could hurt him, he would box more like he did with Lemieux.

If he felt Saunders didn't have anything he couldn't walk through, then Saunders would just get walked down and taken out earlier.

When did Akavov become 'hard case Akavov'. He's beaten up a lot of club level fighters, but its more 'untested and unknown Akavov'.

As for wins against Lee and Eubank being better than Golovkin's wins. Lets switch that around for a minute. Imagine GGG blew both Lee and Eubank out in 3 rounds, then Saunders has narrow wins over Wade and Brook. Lee and Eubank wouldn't be looking so good any more, while Saunders could say Brook and Wade were far tougher based on the fight they put up. Everyone's rated till GGG beats the crap out of them, then they suddenly aren't so good any more.

Saunders is looking for that payday, and it sounds like Team Canelo have made it clear they aren't interested for whatever reason. So now he's raising the volume on his only other possible payday, GGG.

I think its doable as GGG will fight him in the UK. GGG has a name there after Brook, and Saunders being hometown, there is enough in place to sell out a venue and match or exceed the 600k buys the Brook fight got. So should be enough for GGG and Saunders. I think this fight happens.

Saunders and GGG in 2017, for F***S sake can we just see it already, Golovkin is 35 in what April?! He has 2 to 3 years at the top at the most the time for the big fights is now. Saunders will test Golovkin and the fans deserve it. You know what Saunders wins over Lee & Eubank are nearly as impressive as GGG's biggest wins, somebody disagree with me!

I'm not, easily as good as anything on GGG's lame-ass resume.

I think it's a step too far for BJS though. I don't know if he's got the resilience for the pressure GGG would bring. I see a fighter in the Ward/ Bernard Hopkins mould as being the one to upset GGG. Hopkins from 15 years ago would school GGG.
