Many blessings to a great champ in Hopkins. I hope he wins his last fight, retires, and then trains fighters. We all know how great he was in the ring, but to point a couple things outside the ring that always impressed me was when he talks to the camera, it always seems like he is talking to each person directly, at least I always felt like he was talking to me and that is a great attribute of a commentator because he always keeps great eye contact with the camera. The other thing was how he has treated his body as he says like a temple. He buys all his food at Whole Foods and sticks with organic items and doesn't party or smoke or do anything negative to his body. He came from a spotty youth and willed his way to success. He will be fondly remembered in my eyes. Top 10 favorite of mine.

This is a fun matchup, but I think Hopkins will walk away with it. Joe Smith was a part-timer until recently and he has almost no world class boxing experience. He can definitely punch but I don't think that'll be enough this time.
