What is Ward even talking about? Learning to fight multiple ways, outside, mid-range, inside? He couldn't even fight ONE way! He literally couldn't do any of those things. All he could do was hold and foul, and he still lost 8-9 rounds, got knocked down, and got hurt in 4 different rounds (1, 2, 11, 12). Kovalev even hurt him with an inside body shot, so Ward is trippin' worse than the judges was.

But if this is talk to hype the rematch, I guess it makes sense he would do that, no matter how ridiculous what he's saying is, or how ridiculous this idea that he "won" is that he keeps repeating. He lost clearly but if he says he can do better in the rematch, HBO needs to make that by no later than March and let's see if Ward can actually do anything other than headbutting and holding this time.

I don't know if I'd call it being uppity...more like delusions of grandeur. He's talking like he got up from the knockdown and beat kovalev's ass. In reality he cautiously eked out a decision, winning rounds by very slight margins in the back half of the fight. He got the decision, good for him...but it wasn't some epic war of wills.

Ward stepped up in weight against the most feared man in boxing, took his best shot, got up and whooped him the rest of the way, Kitty Kov didnt want that inside work so he was initiating the grabbing and holding, this was clearly seen. Now he's saying it was Ward doing the holding, um we saw the fight, Kitty was initiating the holding and putting Ward in headlocks, Ward snatched his 0 and his belts. Now Kitty is crying, talking about he's gonna ko Ward....when he just had him in the ring and Ward took his best shot. Kitty is gonna get stopped, cause Ward is daring the bully to be a bully, with no cardio kitty is only gonna make things worse for himself, and Ward already knows what to expect, the same style...
