He's a genius indeed (without irony). Canelo and Cotto back-to-back without having done anything to deserve it.
A quick cash grab is a cute idea.
Pugilistic Parkinson's because you fked around and got wrecked, not so cute.

Kirkland has always blocked punches with his face anyway, even against lesser opposition. If I were him, I would take the money.

Don't really understand why Kirkland's name was added to this article. It was a rumor that was proven to be B.S. when it came around the first time, now with absolutely no proof, all of a sudden Kirkland is in the running again. LMAO at anyone who believes this load of garbage. If Cotto was going to fight Kirkland, it would have happened this year. Seriously, take a whole year off, only to fight the guy he could have fought anytime this year, fhuking brilliant journalism. How about we all run with what was actually said, Cotto will return on February 25th, that's all the info we have, lol.

Another Roy Jones (except that Roy Jones) was actually a legend.

Is this guy desperate for money? Or just a case of "why not, all the silly ricans still seem to watch his fights! ".

Article says nothing except that Kirkland has been speculated by Narvaez. Baffling as to why Kirkland even gets mentioned any more, guy fights once every 18 months and never beat anyone of note unless you count Perro.

No chance prying Maidaina away from the buffet table these days, that won't happen for sure.

We have Lara taking a bs fight with Yuri Foreman, would have much preferred Cotto/Lara.

Although Cotto would probably fight anybody, i reckon Lara is the last person he would choose for a comeback fight.

He obviously wants to come back and look good, not have to chase boxings answer to Haile Gebrselassie around the ring for 12 rounds.
