Charlo vs JRock: Who you got?

Hello im new here on the forum, been around boxing and boxing news for a long time but didnt register on the forum until today so this will be my 1st post, i like to see myself as unbiased so i wont be judging any boxer for their ethnicity, power, or fighting style, but rather their technical skill, cause that is what actually impresses me about boxing, if i wanna see brawlers i can go watch MMA but when i watch boxing i like to watch the highly skilled fighters

    tl;dr on to the post

So who do you think will win this clash of undefeated 154lbs fighters?

Personally i just cant decide, and thats why i look forward to this fight so much cause it really should be great fight with 2 guys that are on about equal skill level (atleast as far as we know) both have great fundamentals and are well trained

Charlo pros: His jab will be his biggest advantage, imo Jerm(a)ll has one of the best jabs in the sport atm, its crisp, its precise and its powerful, and he bases everything he does around it
Other then that hes an allround good fighter, might be a bit robotic in his movement at times but throws great variation of punches and hes the more proven of the two (beating Bundrage and Trout)
and i feel he doesnt get nearly enough credit for beating Trout as he shouldve, yes he slowed down later on in the fight but he was consistent with his jab throughout and it has to be taken into consideration that this was the 1st time in the pros that Charlo faced a southpaw, and a tricky one at that in Trout, so i think all things considered he did the job well and will keep on improving, hes an all round good fighter to say the least.

JRock pros: JRock isnt as proven as Charlo so we cant know for sure if hes the real deal until after December 10th, but from what ive seen so far i think JRocks biggest advantage will be in the timing of his punches, imo it seems that JRock has a superb sense of timing and is a very clever fighter who reads his opponents and exposes the flaws that are presented in front of him and thus i feel JRock might be the more natural talent of the two, Charlo as earlier mentioned is very well taught but a bit robotic so if JRock is unpredictable and times Charlo this could be a real nail biter

I really like both fighters and props to both for making this fight, but if i had to choose a winner id have to go with Charlo because of his piston like jab and because he is more proven at the world level

Jrock. Charlo can't adjust, as we saw in the Trout fight. Trout was there for the taking and kept doing the same darn thing and Charlo just kept letting him. I mean, can the kid even throw an uppercut!?

I think the biggest mistake was not throwing his left hook, Charlo has a really good left hook but he barely threw any in that fight and as u said barely any uppercuts either

It's a shame that J-Rock/Charlo couldn't be on the same card as Hopkins/Smith. They're a week apart and both in LA. Having Philadelphia's old going out on the same night as the grand arrival of their new would've been cool.

They've routinely fought small, outmatched dudes so I done know how talented they are. But I'm inclined to go J Rock cuz I think he's the bigger puncher. Could be evenly matched in all other aspects. Good fight. Can't wait.

And that reason actually favors Charlo. Because now he has that experience of what to/not to do.

J-Rock has never fought a top 10 fighter or someone even close. So now he's in the same bout Charlo was his last fight.
