Wladimir Klitschko is not invincible so, there are boxers who have already defeated him. He looks so helpless against Tyson Fury and lost fight. When I see new generation heavyweight boxers, I understand how great boxer he is. Wladimir 40, Povetkin 37, Haye 36, Pulev 35, Ortiz 37(looks 40+), Briggs 44 and others... One of the worst periods of heavyweight division history. Joshua, Parker, Granat, Jennings, Washington, Molina, Duhaupas and others are really sucks! Do you like the fights of these guys? Im not! There are no superstar boxers like the old times at heavyweight division.

      I don't know about that.

I thought Wlad had one last great performance in him for the fury rematch but at 39 that rematch needed to happen quickly.

It's now a full year later, and klitschko has no fight signed so is looking at an 18 months stretch of inactivity. At the age of 40/41

I think his ship may have sailed

^^^^^^This. Actually Wlad should hang up his gloves after his "performance" against Fury. He was completely outclassed by a second hand HW. I agree with you on AJ. He is the man to beat in the HW division. Would love to see how Wilder would do against him. I'm betting on AJ.

It's only a short matter of time until we see Wlad get KTFO.

It's going to happen and it's going to be even worse than Sanders.

Fury beat Klitschko, but where is Fury now?
So that leaves Klitschko at the top still.
Granted, he may have hit the opposite side of his peak and be on his way out but he's proven a whole lot more than any of the closest contenders and one of them has to prove themselves by beating him, however inevitable that may seem it still stands.
Only then, at the end of the day, any question of- but would he have beaten Klitschko?- will be beyond argument.
So in that Lewis is completely right in my opinion.
Joshua is relatively untested, Wilder's record is still open to debate- have one of them put doubts to sleep by winning a fight against Klitschko. Then they'll have a real name on their record to stamp a claim with some historical significance.

Klitschko and Povetkin are still no.1 and no.2 until proven otherwise imo. Fury is retired.

              Ortiz is no.3

Wilder, Parker and Joshua have nothing between and it can be argued who is 3rd, 4th and 5th between them.

Wilder should face Povetkin as a matter of urgency to prove himself no.1 should Klitschko never fight again, I suspect Klitschko vs Joshua does not happen and Hearn lines up Haye for Joshua in the summer.
