Maidana vs Mathysse might as well happen...

Boxing is in ****ing shambles. The idea that Kova vs Ward might have been as low as 160k ppv buys is detrimental to boxing. Obviously, the media conglomerates, promotions and boxers are missing something. I think what it is ...is fervor, genuine nationalism, nostalgia and thinking big. Not that this fight would by any means save it...but that that is the idea I'm afraid we are going to have to take to make this sport mainstream again.
It can't be about feuding internal politics branding one side of the Isle of boxers (PBC,GB,TopRank) as elite and the other as sellouts,it has to be a about a cohesive understanding that at the end of the day they're all unites with a profound opportunity to represent the sport of boxing and leave it in a better place then they found it. But yeah, this seems like a fight allllllmost past it's experation date. I'm sure this would do well on prime time TV under PBC

This will never happen because chino is not coming back and because they are good friends. It's a great fight for Lucas but Chino has other money fights to make so he wouldn't be very interested anyway.

Let boxing die man, let it die. Once it reaches the bottom, then they can all learn from the experience.

But Chino is the more retired underdog fatso who would have to rise to the occasion to fight a fresher more active Lucas. Seems to be that Lucas is slightly retired or in the Twilight of his career but these guys could make a pretty penny with this fight. It's time to think big and it can't just be put on America's shoulders. It's a global sport. Argentine people like their sports just like every other nation. This could be their in house Ali-Frazier, culture and new perspectives help the sport exponentially. I mean look at Phillipino Pacquaio
Obviously this fight should be held at a weight class though
      140-160

You don't live in Cordoba, do you?
