Truth is, most people support/defend those who look like them. It is what it is.

Same people calling Floyd kocky and arrogant are cheering on McGregor.

Well that's likely because Mcgregor has a personality, is a funny guy and an entertaining fighter. Floyd comes across as an insecure, whiney cherry picker.
Floyd then blames his upbringing for molding him as the man he is.
But when you look at Andre Ward he's faced more adversity than floyd and is a total gent.

I guess what he's tryna say is HBO all of the sudden loves the "hit and not be hit" style when they spent more than a decade ****ting on Floyd over it. At least that's how I interpret this tweet. For example go back and listen to their commentary of Mayweather/Baldomir, that **** was just brutal and classless.
They kept ****ting on Floyd for one simple reason..he simply would not get hit.

He was catching Baldomir with everything in the arsenal and barely got touched for 12 rounds, but instead of appreciating a flawless display of skills, they ripped him to shreds.. Now keep in mind Baldomir outweighed Floyd on fight night by 13 lbs (162 vs 149), now fast forward to how they keep making excuses for Loma losing to Salido because he was outweighed on fight night.. I say all that to say this, if Loma was toying with a guy who was 13 lbs heavier for 12 lopsided rounds, the HBO crew would never utter the word "boring". .and that's the point I guess Rigo is trying to make.

Now I'm more inclined to say it's more of an HBO thing, not necessarily a white/black thing because Emmanuel Steward was the harshest Floyd critic that night. .but I highly doubt Steward would've labeled Loma a boring piece of **** for outclassing a bigger man. . I can very easily say Loma vs Walters was boring, I mean it wasn't competitive, it was simply one guy doing target practice on a stationary target, even Max said the athletic competition was finished, basically we all knew Walters was done but HBO was just in awe seeing Loma tee off on him..so why is that exciting for one guy and boring for another.

Most boxers come up with their own names for marketing purposes anyway... It's completely inconsequential as to where they got the name when they're telling the public he's The Matrix...

Rigo's just upset that Lomachenko's getting shine and pulling the race card to persuade people to stop the recognition of Lomachenko's skills...
