I doubt anybody gets to beat Salido in his 2nd fight as a pro.

it is a valid loss...the fight was not decided because of weight, Salido just avoided being drained beyond repair...as far as the fouling goes, Lomachenko himself got a bit chippy and caused a lot of the lowblows by pulling Salido down, clinching and smothering the wrong way, Salido will follow through with his shots and not modify the trajectory of his punch just because you moved in a way that makes you vulnerable to a nut shot. Lomachenko is better for the experience and can achieve great things still...that loss doesn't take away from his career because he showed his talent as well so early in his pro career...you just validate the duckers when you think the 0 means so much.

Lomachenko validated it by going through with the fight.....it's not the only reason he lost...and i'd argue it had very little to do with the loss. Salido is no spring chicken and moved up immediately. He is still short as **** and not someone who can drain you of energy with his body...he drains you with his relentless style and underrated craft inside. The alternative for Siri was to drain himself and have nothing left by fight night. He chose to leave it up to Lomachenko to go through with the fight or not. BUt still, Loma flashed his potential and has become better because of that experience.....only idiots think he lost to a bum.

I want to see this fight. I don't see anything wrong about people wanting to talk about it.
Loma definitely got screwed against Salido in so many ways.
But people don't really like Loma, even though there is a perception that everyone loves him for some reason, so people are going to take whatever they can.
I don't see why there is a problem for people talking about a rematch though.
That fight needs to happen. Even if Loma has to sacrifice purse. They need to make it happen.
Klimas is a little bit stubborn, but he's only hurting Loma if he doesn't give Salido what he wants. As long as Salido is not asking for millions either.
