Paulie Malignaggi will likely end up going down as the leading "fighter turned analyst" voice that boxing has ever seen; he maxed out his limited physical gifts to have a heck of a career, but I envision Paulie Malignaggi being the voice that fight fans get accustomed to hearing for at least the next decade.

Assuming that the PBC deal goes as I expect it to go (the main deal ends up being with Showtime/CBS/SpikeTV, Ringstar Sports/TGB Promotions/DiBella Entertainment ends up with the FS1 deal, and DiBella Entertainment ends up with the ESPN deal, with HBO Boxing figuring out what they want to do with their take on the sport), folks are going to spend a lot of time listening to Paulie Malignaggi delivering his incites regularly.

      as a commentator.

but he was a good fighter in his prime. made a lot of money, fought on TV most of the time during his prime, and travelled the world. lost to the very best, but was always game.

The Broner taking his sidepiece thing was hilarious.

What made it even more hilarious was how upset Malignaggi got over it. He was on the verge of tears when Broner bragged about leaving with his belt and his girl in the postfight interview.

As a fighter, I give him a lot of respect and kudos. He wasn't the best but did great with what he had and was a solid competitor for a long time vs everyone. If only he didn't have brittle hands...

As a man, I don't really value him highly at all. He knew Al Haymon was being a snake behind the scenes and called him out on it, a lot of Boxing people respected him for that but before we knew it he joined Al Haymon. He didn't really give a **** about what Al Haymon believed in or did, as long as he got him more money. He never critiques Al Haymon anymore and says ****** political **** on Twitter too. He is also terrible at scoring fights and that isn't just with the Kovalev fight.

As a guy who lost his belt & girl to Broner.. That's the first thing that comes to my mind about Paulie & then his verbal diarrhea follows..

A bit of a clown. He made an idiot of himself during the whole Broner fiasco. He was still talking about it after the fight, it was embarassing. Not a bad fighter but a jackass for sure

And the way he wore his hat sideways was really embarassing. A loser Brooklyn Nets hat for what its worth. Thurman would have hurt him permanently
