    what a lying piece-of-****.....

"Golovkin and his team are preventing this fight from happening. Golovkin offered to fight the now retired Carl Froch at the super-middleweight limit of 168 lbs., as well as former WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., but wants a catch-weight for Andre Ward?

The 2004 Olympic gold medalist has informed his promoter at Roc Nation Sports that he wants to fight Golovkin next, but he’s not going to fight him at 164 pounds.

“Ward wants to fight Golovkin, and he wants to fight next, but it won’t happen at 164-pounds. By accepting 168 with Carl Froch and Chavez Jr., but then demanding 164 with Ward – it’s their way of saying, ‘we don’t want to fight Andre Ward,” the source revealed to Boxing Scene."

Ha, Ward is lying about Timeline, strong indicator he is lying all around

Ward saying this was early 2016 is just another lie, knowing it hapoened in Kate summer of 2015.

Ward saying they said 2018 is just lame. What's funny, is they said 2017. Why isn't Ward pointing that out.

My guess is Ward knows he got beat by Kovalev. GGG would put a real hurting on him.

Even funnier, Loeffler is beating Ward on the ticket sales, knowing damn well GGG would put a hurting on Ward. In all due time. GGG should get the WBO, beat Jacobs scared a$$, and then maybe one 168 title and boom, on to Ward, who at that point will likely have been still coming up with reasons not to give Kov a rematch.

Im not the biggest Ward fan, but there is no way in hell that someone will convince me that Ward moved up to face Kovalev in his third fight, but he was afraid to face a smaller middleweight moving up to face him at 168

Sanchez and ggg said those. But loeffler is saying as a team, in discussion with Ward, they never...

Neither of those were in context of what Ward was talking about. Those were responses to media questions, both times were what all fighters do, negotiate through the media. K2 had nothing on tap, and couldn't land anyone. They were asked about Ward. They made clear they were not moving up to 168. Nothing wrong with publicly pushing for the CW.

Boxing fans make memes out of it.

Now Ward said nothing at that time. It was a half a year later after ggg became mandatory for Cotto/Canelo winner, was waiting to see if Lee was gonna win, and had just signed a ppv with Lemiuex (as it turned out, ggg and Lemiuex did just about as well as Kov v Ward).

So Ward had nothing to say when k2 was negotiating working the public. But as soon as it's clear ggg has three possible unification fights, a deal with Jordan on tap, and other endorsements, Ward suddenly wakes up.

I'm not buying it. And even now, it's Ward publicly saying "no concessions" will be the hurdle that he knows kills the fight. If Ward was so serious about fighting ggg, he sure waited so long before responding to the meet in middle talk from k2.

I'm not gonna spend the time to find quotes but I guarantee you could find quotes from both camps that completely discredit one another

Loeffler should never let the name Andre Ward leave his mouth. Tom looks like a clown everytime he does

It's been clear as day for the last couple years Loeffler would rather catch Cancer then Have Gennady fight Ward.

Since they turned down the Ward fight K2 has had Gennady wait for Canelo/Cotto which hasn't and might not materialize and has fought Lemiuex,Monroe,Wade,Brook and hasn't taken any risks ( His completion level has actually gotten worse from the First 2 years he debuted on HBo ) talk about wasting 2 years of a old fighters career. Instead of just trying to make a fight with Ward which would have gaurenteed a decent PPV , probably his highest purse, a legitimate claim at P4P #1 they choose to beat down on a paper titlist, 2 nobodies and unproven WW

While Ward stepped up in weight and fought the #1 threat in Kov.
