Tell me about it. How long did Monte Barrett go on and on about jesus last night? Isn't once enough? Whenever a fighter doesn't answer the first question right away you just have know he's going to say "I'd first like to thank my lord and savior jesus christ". ...Yeah but with religious fanatics it doesn't work both ways. Their failures are all their fault and all of their succeses are because Jesus smiled upon them. They will never say god let them down when they fail. He may have been "testing them" but not letting them down so to speak.

When someone jocks themself, everyone hates them, and when they try to humble themself and give credit to god for getting them through what they feel he got them through, you people bad talk them. I doubt that's what most of them ask for, though I could be wrong. But I would think they ask for protection in the ring, and most importantly to be able to perform at their best, and they give thanks for the opportunity..
