Why do you care what weight they're fighting at, don't you want to see the fight? Why are boxing fans concerned about politics and fighters' pay? Are you just fan boys or are you boxing fans that want to see good competitive match-ups.

I like Rigondeaux, but some of the things he said don't make sense at all.

1: Why would Loma or Top Rank accept a catch-weight? Loma doesn't need Rigo at all. He has plenty of options at 130, and he can also move up to 135 to grab another title. Rigo on the other hand desperately needs a fight and a good payday. If he wants Loma, he has to move up to 130. Beggars can't be choosers.

Business aside, I can't see him being competitive, let alone winning. He's way too small for Loma and he has been too inactive since Donaire. His defensive abilities might allow him to go the distance but if he's not getting stopped, he's getting shut out.

2: However, among the many things that make us different are those: I unlike him have never lost a round against a boxer with many losses and between him and I, I am the only one that is undefeated.

I can't think of anyone in history who would have beaten Salido in his second pro fight. If anyone disagrees, give me a name.

Rigo is the only one around those weights that can compete with Loma.

The weight is a huge obstacle

WTF are you talking abt.. I said I want to see the fight... But for the fight to happen, Rigo will have to move up. Stop being emotional cause people are saying Rigo as to move up. We all know Rigo is a great fighter, but for the fight to happen, he will hve to move up. He refused to fight him at 126 so now Loma is att 130, what u think will happen?
