You have a sport that constantly disappoints its fans. Whether it's not getting the fights we want, robberies, network contracts that prevent fights, promoters not working with each other, etc. Do you really think you're going to keep fans after that? Perhaps it's poetic justice or self-inflicted wounds. Now I love boxing but to be honest, I'm glad the ppv numbers and ratings are down. It's showing how sick and tired we are of all the bull****. Hopefully they get the message and maybe, just maybe we will get a major change in this sport.

boxing will relegated primarily to online streaming. But it sucks cuz boxing is terrible on the body and all I ever wanted was for these dudes to get paid. But I shouldn't be to mad cuz they did bring it on themselves.

        Not surprised at all.

Exciting fighters get robbed by boring ass holes all the time.

Boxing is committing suicide. UFC is starting to dominate

The trend of boxing is declining and in my opinion the trend of MMA cage fighting is on the up. Boxing can be adopted as an exercise or permanent workout at home or boxing gym. All you need is a coach to properly guide you.

            What do you think?

When boxing walks away from its essential heritage -- victory in combat -- it suffers in credibility and entertainment. Yes, the refined skills are part of its greatness, but so is kicking someone's ass. The best guys have to face each other, now and not later, and the winner has to hurt the other guy at least somewhat. Otherwise it's crap.

Absolutely Not! People been warned for years now that UFC is more tapped into the most important/profitable demographic which is 18-35 Demo so that sport being Popular with a young audience you have kids grow in watching MMA and when they get older and can afford to buy their own PPV Events they likely will because they're familiar with everything MMA

Boxing on the other hand, Impossible to get young people into to be honest, throw a fight party and the kids are either running around or in another room playing video games could absolutely careless about boxing don't know who any of the fighters are

But it is a lot of boxing fans in Denial about the success of the UFC well now the biggest PPV star is Connor McGregor a MMA Fighter ironically now that Mayweather is retired

Just talking about the STATES by the way, Boxing is clearly still flourishing in the UK which is great for Eddie Hearn, Frank Warren, Mick Hennessy and all of them in the UK as boxing Declines and the Money dries up for Boxing in the States because investors are not going to invest much into a sport is in a very bad space and gets Lower Ratings than Golf and Hockey

The reason boxing is declining in popularity is because UFC is more violent and easier to enjoy. Some people watch combat sports for the aggression aspect alone.

If boxing was ran like UFC then Floyd and Pacquiao would have fought back in 09' , Canelo vs GGG would have happened already, Brook/Thurman/Garcia would have all fought eachother in one year.. etc etc.

                    It's a miracle that even Ward/Kovalev happened.
