This is a true 50-50 fight.

Lebedev is a better boxer but he's getting old at age 37 and has been through some wars. Gassiev is 14 years younger and fresher at age 23, and he's very strong.

Gassiev experience wise isn't ready for this one but he's got some physical advantages he can work with, I won't be shocked if he wins but I got Lebedev as a slight favourite.

Bookies have Lebedev favourite, but not much in it.

I think Gassiev is ready for this vs taking on Lebedev too soon, and watching both I can't decide who I think is going to win.

My gut is Grassiev, but Lebedev will make him earn it all the way. Its not like Lebedev is a young 37, he's been in some hellacious wars, and don't know if it catches up with him this fight or in a later one, but Grassiev might make it this one.

Might be the odd shot after the bell though lol (you know the one I mean). Only difference being Lebedev will continue as long as at least 3 limbs are still attached).

Such a tough fight to call as both are so flawed. Gassiev has nominal defence, and is an easy target, but has game changing power with what he throws.

Lebedev can and does get hurt, but just won't quit. Gassiev's chin hasn't shown any signs of weakness to date, but I suspect he will catch a few against Lebedev. Lebedev's chin has shown weakness in the past, but he always gets up and carries on.

I suspect this will come down to chin vs chin, and Gassiev's power ends up being the difference. Gassiev hits like a truck, and if he can walk through Lebedev's shots, which I suspect he will have to, Lebedev won't be able to take more than a couple of Gassiev's bombs.

Lebedev goes down, gets back up, goes down again, and eventually a mercy stoppage.

Just a guess.

Alternative is Lebedev hangs in there and can survive the bombs, and Gassiev gets gassed, with Lebedev simply outworking him to the end (winning on sheer will). Can Lebedev get through the bombs he's going to catch though ?

For sure, one to look forward to.
