SOGs performance vs Kov the biggest come back in years? comeback fighter of year also

Some guys like Gatti have dynamite in their fists and can bail themselves out of trouble with power

very few fighters have ever comeback from being down so much and come back to win

Marquez pulled something similar vs pac in fight one but got a draw

I was thoroughly impressed with Hunter's coaching and Ward's where with all the stick with the plan, not get flustered and keep working

Ward has fought an elite fighter in years and many believed he is not the fighter, he once was...well thats true...he isnt quite as athletic or fast but he is physically stronger, better inside game, and underrated toughness

I was impressed with kovalev and ward

imo ward should win fighter, comeback fighter, or come from behind win of the year

IMO this fight stamped Ward as being a great fighter, skill-wise and inside.

It's just a tired topic when 98.7% of fans and media scored it for Kovalev bro. It's a robbery so that is why people are quiet and are just waiting for the judges give it to the right winner in the rematch.

ESPN, Buffer, Byrd, etc etc all had it for Kovalev. They still have Kovalev over Ward in the P4P rankings. It's just seen as a robbery not worth going over.

Top 10 greatest comeback of all time, as soon as he got back up he smiled like "I got this" and went on to take Kov's belts. Truly a champion.

I'd disagree just because it didn't seem Ward was really hurt after the knockdown. He definitely got buzzed and showed tremendous heart and grit coming back. Algeiri did pretty much the same thing in his fight vs Provodnikov a few years back.

the way algieri was getting popped showed courage and resolve. Ward has a good beard to take a cleans shot like that flush and be up under 4 seconds
