Fight was competitive, but not all that close. After 6 rounds, Ward needed a knockout to win this fight, or at least a knockdown IN ADDITION to winning every single round.

Most people know that Kovalev really won this fight. Time for a rematch. But I think Ward will avoid that. The blueprint has been established by Canelo, how to duck.

well technically yeah, but than if you going that route you must always agree with the official ruling no matter what. Hooker vs perez is not a robbery than etc etc.

Sure, what are you missing here ?

        (1) Kovalev won the fight
        (2) the judges gave the win to Ward

        Both are equally true.

Had Kov winning, since watching more times now. I actually have him winning much better than I thought!.

Ward couldn't outbox him so he tried fouls and other vet moves to get Kov off his game then he made it an ugly fight!

I like how Ward was credited in the fight for making Kov miss but Kovalev made Ward miss a ton and also kept him from throwing as much as well due to him keeping Andre guessing with the feints and jabs!

Rematch will be much different, expect a sharper Ward who will start the fight off going straight to the body and fighting on the inside whereas Krusher will look to take his head off immediately and throw a lot more jabs this time around and also invest into the body earlier than the 12th round in the 1st fight!

Kovalev was treated ;like the hated Commie he is in the USA

America the land of freedom isn't giving any big fight decisions to some low Communist from Russia no matter how close a fight actually is. Okay Kovie got screwed by the boxing judges but weep not for the despised the cold war warrior Kovalev who made his American money in the land of freedom. That commie crap doesn't play well in America. If Kovalev wants a win over the protected soft much disliked mulatto Ward then KO the SOG. DUH? Go cry to *****.

BS. I will never accept Roy Jones lost to Si Hun Park in Korea.

When judges f up, they f up. The official ruling goes in the books (Si Hun Park won the gold medal), but we must never agree with any of bias/corruption/ineptitude. Quite the opposite, we need to stand up and fight it (principles of democracy right there - this is protecting our way of life stuff).

(in other words I'm agreeing with you War Kovalev as I think you are saying the same thing)

Can't be compared to Canelo, he took the fight and beat a man that was supposed to kill him. If he do rematch and it goes to decision, KOV fans will still be bitter if Ward wins by decision again. So he will never get a fair shake against Kov.

No we can't let this one go. Its been a cancer in boxing for too long (hometown scoring bias). If we let it go it continues too easily, only way we can change it is if we don't let it go (and no guarantee then, but at least we are meeting our responsibilities of standing up to injustice).
