At 130 or 135, Floyd punishes Lomachenko.. He was faster, smarter, had more range and the reach; would have been a boxing clinic.

Lomachenko is very good but there is no way he compares to Pretty Boy Floyd at 130. I don't see Loma doing a number on a prime Diego Corrales like Floyd did or winning ten straight professional fights in a single year.

He would likely lose to Floyd at 130 if they both fought. Floyd at that weight class was taller, had a far greater reach, hit harder, and was more explosive than Lomachenko is.

I Know Arum is simply trying to promote his fighter but please don't sell the public lies.

        Because he's promoting.

once the fans start question why u just wont fight walters, offer him a deal that makes loma the prohibited A side when he is not

then add a move to 130 to figth the worst champion in the division that shouldnt actually be a champion

next avoid the salido fight bc walters is desperated after a year layoff and ripe for the picking.

          ....serve when hot....

loma's a good fighter but his best attribute has been staying hungry while being a bit protected and carried along

most fighters stop being humble and lose hunger when the past ahead of them is brighter to due to promotional favoritism
          How's he been protected exactly?

            Arum is goofy.

Floyd was a World Champion at 21...and can fight like hell on the inside.

Arum said like the exact same thing about Mayweather when he was promoting Mayweather.

Lomachenko is a stud and that will be proven out over time anyway but I don't care what his promoter has to say because it is something being sold. It is fine what Arum is doing and he knows that there is a market for this line he is selling.

If Lomachenko was not his guy does Arum say that? Probably wouldn't even take the time to pronounce his name correctly if you are being honest~

That was the real sweet science, making them miss and making them pay but also wanting to kick their ass. It was beautiful. :wipes tears from face:

Loma is the true killing art.

People comparing Floyd in his mid to late 30s to the current Lomachenko lack perspective, do you think a 35 year old Loma at 140 will be fighting the same way against naturally bigger men?? .... personally I doubt it.
They weren't watching boxing back then. They keep embarrassing themselves. PBF was a beast.

I know but his fights are all on YouTube so there's no excuse for these guys to stay ignorant. I can't stand when people talk as though he's always been safety first, he had the perfect blend of offence and defence as a 130-135 lber.

Other than Marquez most top fighters in their mid to late 30s don't pull the trigger the way they used to in their prime 20s.

Before Floyd's hands started bothering him, he was much more offensive, so much hate for such a legendary boxer, as far as what he achieved in the ring, he's the goat IMO, forget his money persona or his personal life, as a boxer he was the best. Love him or hate him.
