Comments Thread For: Vasyl Lomachenko: I'll Fight Terry Flanagan - But NOT in The UK

WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko (7-1, 4KOs) has no problem with moving in weight to challenge Terry Flanagan, who holds the WBO's world title at 135-pounds. Lomachenko has already captured world titles at 126 and 130. He wants more.

Flanagan is looking to cash out. Unfortunately, he's the B side. More like the C side. His only asset is that paper title. His level of competition wouldn't get him a mention without it. Flanagan is not getting a big paycheck in the US, nobody knows him and he hasn't beat anybody special. This fight won't happen.

Getting robbed in Vegas or Getting robbed in the UK hmmmm but Loma clearly is willing to take his chances in the States...I wonder why...maybe he knows deep down inside Ward and Crawford won fair and square.

Lomachenko knows what's up. Fighting in your opponent's country is always risky.
But IMO Flanagan is just a guy who's an option in 2017.. I'd prefer Pac, Salido or Corrales first. Hell, even Rigo is a better option, but I doubt Rigo will ever get the balls to take a risk.
