Adelaide Byrd needs to be away from judging and this needs to be repeated as often as possible.

There should be a "4th judge". Another scorecard based on the 3 other judges scorecard. The 4th scorecard scores 10-9 based on what the other 2 judges say.

So if judge A scores rd 1 10-9, judge B scores 9-10 and judge C scores 9-10, then the 4th scorecard would also score it 9-10 because 2 of the 3 judges scores it 9-10.

            If round 2 was scored 9-10 (A), 10-9 (B), 9-10 (C), then round 2 is also scored 9-10 on the 4th scorecard as 2 of the 3 judges have it 9-10.

            If round 3 has a KD and scored 10-8 (A), 9-9 (B) and 9-9 (C), then the 4th scorecard scores it 9-9.

If round 4 is scored 10-9, 9-10, 10-10, then scorecard 4 should be scored 10-10 as it is split down the middle.

That may be a good idea, but it can be confusing. And that would mean that the 4th judge wouldn't really be a judge. It would just be a system put in place to ensure that the majority rules, in each round... I do like the idea of a 4th judge. I mentioned this before. There are 4 sides of a ring, but only 3 judges. The judges are placed on different sides of the ring and it's possible that scoring is different because of the different viewpoints that they have from where they are sitting. Two judges may see effective body shots, but the other judge may only see the back of the fighter who is throwing body shots... They've added referees to football and basketball over the years, I don't see why boxing wouldn't add another judge.

What about a 5 judge system. 1 judge on each side of the ring and the 5th judge watching a TV monitor. I know this will only work for televised fights but I think It would help. However, in all reality you will always have people who just won't agree with the decision because their fighter was not awarded the victory.

Turns out all three judges had Walters ahead by one point. They all had heard erroneously that Walters was promoted by ROC (Robber Of Champions) Nation and they already had their bags packed for a free Hawaaiin vacation and had put downpayments on new condominiums.
