I think we can all agree Lomachenko is the slickest fighter since....

I feel like every other guy is being called "slick" nowadays - the term is devalued and it's an understatement to what Lomachenko does; he's a front foot boxer-puncher. It's truly the best style to watch and I'm still not sure most boxing fans understand how difficult it is to counterpunch, throw combos, block and slip all on the front foot, applying pressure and being effective. I can watch Loma all day, along with Roman Gonzalez.

slick is just an attribute a fighter has.
You can be a slick boxer.
You can be a slick brawler.
You can be a slick puncher.
You can be a slick boxer/puncher.
You can be a slick sniper.
You can be a slick inside fighter who throws in volume.
You can be slick from the peekaboo, from the philly shell, from the cross, from the turtle shell, with your hands down, while dancing and moving, with your feet planted.
Slick just means you are a slippery fighter and difficult to land cleanly on.

Even this short video shows him using all the skills Loma uses, even to the slapping down the gloves of the opponent.

He has a different style. He is much more offensive and throws twice as many punches per round. He has real power in both hands and gets KOs often. He fights going forward, not backward. I find him much more entertaining and enjoyable to watch.

When I sit in a shoulder roll it's a razor's edge all the time.
Maybe I just suck at the Shoulder Roll but I see the punches the same in both stances, one is just much more mobile and with the high guard constantly checking for punches, defence becomes almost automatic.
On a different note it's much easier to maintain distance and discipline a fighter in Loma's style rather than say Ali's.....So hard to keep people off with just a jab and movement.
Not a Gonzales fan....Just don't see the magic.... He has a nice perpetual motion thing going but I see the flaws.... There's just no one with the right style at the weight.
My favourite Style is different depending what time of the day it is.... I mean who doesn't love Tyson and Willie Pep???
