Two of the years biggest fights, within the space of a week. The guys who have the official wins following the bouts are andre ward and vasyl lomachenko. So simply, whos performance were you more impressed with? And why?

Lomachenko made Walters look so bad it's almost surreal. Walters was never going to be a top 3 p4p type talent but I think Loma aside I may favor him against most other fighters around his class. I'd probably favor him over Salido and Vargas honestly...
Lomachenko is sublime. The way he traps dudes with his feet is downright beautiful -

I picked Ward against Kovalev but you're really comparing oranges to apples.
Kovalev was regarded as the king at light heavy and Ward got up from a KD and finished strong. The fight was just way more competitive and Ward showed why he is regarded as a top P4P fighter.
Boxing-wise, Lomachenko, sure. It was a lop-sided clinic but I think Walters is highly overrated. He really put his flaws at display against Sosa.
But really - two way different fights and styles.Comment

I was impressed with Ward's resolve
I was impressed with Loma's just clinical mastery
If Ward beat Kovalev employing tactics that weren't roughouse, dirty, clinching I would have been more impressed. Loma was swimming while not getting wet and made a dude just straight up quit. Loma played with him for six rounds and then starting putting the leather on him good in the 7th and the guy rather just give up then face the inevitable.
