Whatever he may be (and however much I may or may not agree or disagree with his boxing takes) he got that pseudo-identification thing dead to rights.
You got too many folks who call themselves fans of the sport or aficionados of the science who are actually neither.
They are just punks who want to live vicariously thru athletes they think they have some ethnicity in common with.
Pathetic.Comment

Proving me wrong...about what? i literally have no idea what your argument is, you keep contradicting yourself...you seem like a confused 'leave britney alone' type character.

It's true happens a lot with soccer but boxing should be different cause it's a individual sport everyone had to beat up multiple people from their race to even make it somewhere so it makes no sense to get patriotic about a fighter.Whatever he may be (and however much I may or may not agree or disagree with his boxing takes) he got that pseudo-identification thing dead to rights.

Exactly.
It's the one sport where race hasn't mattered for a long, long time.Comment

Threads like this create racial hatred where there was none.
Lomachenko is a highly skilled, stylish fighter, with special effects (one of my favorite two Euro fighters-- along with Usyk). I don't care where they are from or their skin color as much as I do their fighting styles and spirit.
Keep racism out of boxing.Comment

Sorry but race still does matter in boxing. A big part of boxing is based on racial promotions. Example: Mexican vs PR rilvary.
It doesn't mean one has to be racist like some of the people in this thread but race is still a big part of boxing.Comment

Er, ahhh...hate to be the one to point this out to you but...
Mexico and Puerto Rico are places, not races.
The rivalry is the same as me being from NY and being a Giants fan and someone else being from Boston and liking the Patriots (which, incidently, is a team we Giant fans pray every day that we meet in yet another Super Bowl).
Bad example by you and you might want to examine why you think like that.Comment
