    Weak weak weak

Walters quitting like that is such a pussy-bitch move. I understand that if you know you're getting beat, then what sense does it make to continue. I also understand that if your head's not in the game, you can get really hurt. Hell, I even understand that people can simply lose their nerve.

What I can't understand is how a supposedly world-class boxer can just throw in the towel without so much as a mark on their face? Whatever happened to hanging in there? Walters and his team have had weeks, months, years to prepare for this... and they apparently had no plan of action, and are OK with quitting on the stool. How on earth did Walters make it so far with such a weak constitution?

    Shameful behaviour.

it was shameful behaviour. HBO at the same time shames new generation fans that don'T know about Duran... Bringing up Duran's name was a stretch and completely different scenario in higher weight class opposition and p4p greatness

Definitely, no comparison. People have even tried to compare it to Ortiz v Maidana but that was a straight-up war for 6 rounds, and Ortiz at least gave it something and looked like he'd been in a fight that night.

Walters should refund the fans and apologise.

Disgraceful. The Jamaicans I've known have been the hardest working, no-quit mfkers I've ever met. They'd be ashamed at that shyt Walters pulled.

Loma should be pissed too. He deserved to get an actual finish, not an "I gotta get going bro."

Jamaicans are NOT quitters. Just watch the movie about the Jamaican bobsled team. I love their culture and lifestyle and especially their music/food. But Walters will have a long reputation rebuild process and he can do it, but it is going to be a while before his country or countries accept him again. Now he has more pressure than ever to gain redemption.
