Who is fighter of the year?

    Does Ward's win count?
    Does tonight's fight factor in?
    Is Kovalev the number 1?

I mean does Ward's get it by virtue of the fact he didn't get Ko'd by Kovalev and because he got a disputed (at best) decision?

Fighter of the year should still go to Kovalev in my book. He obviously beat ward to the majority of unbiased people. Home cooking for Defs.

I would again award NO fighter of the year this year. No one really put their hand up. Usyk did some good things, PAC got 2 wins, one good, one OK. Also Loma might be in the discussion with a good win tonight.

But I believe the only other person who would deserve it , the only guy that can get a victory of the right magnitude, is Nicholas Walters. If he decisively beats Loma how could you argue against that? Hed have a decisive win over a top top top level Fighter.

          What do you cret-bags think?

**** forgot about my country man, pretty embarrassing. He has two wins over pretty good fighters. Still not enough to trump Kova's Ward scalp and a possible win of Walters over Loma. Definitely a great shout though.

                should be roman Gonzalez,

something about ducking a fighter then getting awarded FOTY doesn't sit right. Frampton ducked rigo, an old rigo at that, and will never fight him.

                  I think Carl Frampton also.

Rod Salka is a close second.

I'd go Kovalev because I think a Ward unofficial win is better than Frampton's wins this year but they will probably give it to Frampton.
