Comments Thread For: Jason Sosa: Watch It Again; You'll See I Beat Nicholas Walters

LAS VEGAS Jason Sosa thinks the lone blemish on Nicholas Walters' record should be a loss, not a draw. Sosa believes he beat Walters in their 10-round, 130-pound fight December 19 in Verona, New York. Jamaica's Walters (26-0-1, 21 KOs), who'll challenge Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4 KOs) tonight at The Cosmopolitan (HBO; 10:35 p.m. ET), said earlier this week that he walked away from the Sosa fight certain that he won it.

It's almost like being deluded is a prerequisite for a boxer these days. I would love to hear a fighter say "...although I fought well, my opponent was the better man tonight and deserved the victory." SMH.

Things Andre Ward will never say for 10 lol.

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure I heard one boxer say this once, just can't remember who or where.

I think Chris Byrd said it when he "won" versus Fresh Oquendo.

Watched this fight three times, couldn't find a way to give Sosa more than three rounds

decisions need to be outlawed in boxing. if it goes 12 rounds its a draw and neither fighter gets paid.

He's right! You have to turn off the volume, shut the blinds in your house, put the brightness level at only 3 bars, fast forward the first 140 seconds of each round but watch the remaining 40 seconds of each round in slow motion while covering your left eye. If you do this, you'll see he clearly beat walters. Not even close.

The judges scored this fight like the most casual of fans would. "He threw more punches so he wins" logic. De****able
