after watching that fight about 10 times now, im done arguing lol. .ward won rounds 3,5,7,8,9,11 & 12. .kov had rds 1,2,4,6,10.. ppl talk about about "swing rounds" a lot, truthfully the only round that fits that label is round 4, where i gave it to kov but could've went the other way.. ward won, period. .lets hope the rematch is just as good.

how does ward possibly win the 12th? kov landed more punches and hurt ward. seems like a recipe for success in boxing...but yet here we are. please give me a reason why ward would win that round.

Apart from Malignaggi I think he is the only big name saying Ward won by a few rounds. It's eye-catching.

actually ward outlanded him 9-7 in that round. . yea i watched it slow mo. but judges don't have that luxury. .and i gave it to ward because in the last 10 seconds he caught kovalev with a two punch combo to body and head and finished the round with a mean left hook to the body. . 3 power punches in ten seconds. ward took that round.

Watching the Ward-Kovalev replay. It's pathetic how they praised ward after round 7 for landing "2 stiff jabs"........ wow!

Just watched fight again. I love both fighters. Kovalev trains in the US with a US trainer so as far as im concerned he is one of us. I went hoping my pay for view dollars were well spent. Round 1 there was two hard jabs for Kovalev and thats about it. Ward did good work. Round 6 Ward was landing great body shots especially from the clench.

I think maybe people were caught up in thr crowd roar and the head hunting that Kovalev was doing. But if you count the body shots, ward was landing.
