Strictly on their fight,, I would say it's close,, maybe kovolev.. He did a lot of damage but it was only in a few rounds, while the majority of the rounds he wasn't as effective.. Total domination early, but Ward figured him out pretty quick and really didn't get rocked at all in the 2nd half.. And kovolev got tagged a lot... 1st half kovolev, 2nd half Ward.... I would give kovolev a slight advantage but it was pretty even defensively and Ward was handed the harder task
