      It's more complicated than that.

If we don't call Golovkin asking Ward to lose 4 pounds for a fight a way of ducking, we can't call Canelo asking Golovkin to lose 4 or 5 pounds a way of ducking.

JMM is certainly entitled to his opinion but he is too smart to get this one as wrong as he has.

So him saying this mean there is an agenda there IMO.
Didnt Virgil Hunter said Canelo should man up and fight GGG. There is no Agenda. Its not only Mexican Legends saying this but also other trainers who are not Mexican, even Freddie roach.

Canelo is good but he is just another manufactured prize fighter that will be hidden from the top fighters throughout his career.

He's right, but you can sense the jealousy. He's known for one fight and one punch and the rest of his career is a side note. Not fair for him because he was a great fighter but it's true. Canelo gets the adoration Marquez gets to be a commentator who was an ex fighter
All the steroids in the world will not reverse the fact that he will never be remembered as a boxing all time elite like Chavez or Sanchez. He will always be a tad below them and Canelo. That bothers him.

What I don't like about Canelo and the charlatan Oscar is they plaid us for fools. Lying to us the fight would happen sooner than later, the charlatan Oscar was telling everybody Canelo is not scared of GGG, but yet on his advice Canelo gave up the belt without throwing a single punch to defend it. Ward is a crook too for enjoying and keeping belts through robbery. All of them have no idea of what the word "Honor" means.

What about Lil g being the one to man up?

Isn't he the guy that said he could do multiple weight classes?

Isn't he the guy that had no problem with making Ward come down 4 pounds? If he is trying to play A side with Ward (and I am not even sure he is an A side to Ward) then how is he ignorant of what the B side to Canelo should be doing?

There are plenty of guys who say that Lil g should step up, actually take the challenges he said he would and come in at 155- a pound more than he said he would for Floyd, who beat Canelo.

It's a weight that might favor him anyway.

GGG should have move 1 pound and become the Super Middle weight champion and force Ward to come down to 161, like Canelo did. GGG should take two tune up fights before fighting the top dog in the next division, like Ward did. Who wants GGG to move up and fight no names. Fans want GGG vs Canelo, the biggest fight in Boxing, stop making escuses. Should be 60/40 split in Favor of Canelo at 160 for 4 titles.
