2017- The Year of the Rematches?

So far, we have Carl Frampton-Leo Santa Cruz II, Sergey Kovalev-Andre Ward II most likely and who knows? Lomachenko-Walters could warrant a rematch if it's close. Also, if Fury gets his crap together, maybe he can rematch Wlad. I don't see it happening, but I wouldn't mind seeing Thurman-Porter II as well...

And of the course there's the possibility of the rematch to the flop of the century.

Quite possible. I've learned never to trust boxing to give me what I want, when I want it (or expect it for that matter). But, as far as the year of the rematch goes, magic 8 ball says "all signs point to yes".

Yes, this is a sport that lets down more than it lifts up for sure, but hey. Each one of those rematches would be interesting, except for May-Pac 2, which I really don't see happening anyway. Personally I think Mayweather is done, although Pac may not be until he's soundly defeated.
