Kovalev needs to develop a hook arsenal..

Nah he's more boxer by nature in contrary to someone like Golovkin, kovalev simply should of kept boxing Ward he went into kill mode forgot the jab, forgot his foot placement, and forgot how to cut off the ring....Still should have one by 3 good rounds comfortably is the kovalev hate really that strong

people want to give Ward rounds for Running and surviving, was Ward performance even better than old man bhop who stood tall and actually landed kill shots on kovalev which really had him hurt

He would be twice as good of a fighter. I never see him throw hooks, kinda curious why he shies away from this punch??

I've been watching Kovlev for a while and know that his hook is not a very used punch at all. It's as if he doesn't need to. IN particular against ward, I though it would have been effective coming out of the clinch.
