If Duva is happy to stay in Vegas, the rematch likely happens in March; if she insists on moving to another neutral venue (likely NYC, since Jersey isn't really all that neutral), the fight likely gets bumped back to April (largely due to the heat that's expected to come to New York for the already scheduled Garcia-Thurman fight.

no, just not as naive as you. People called me an idiot when i said a robbery was on the cards after the judges got appointed. I dont think ward is 'scared' of kovalev, but he knows every fight is going to be tough and i dont see in his head why he is going to risk it again, as i said he will know he had a lucky escape after reading all the media scorecards.

I'm sure both Ward and Kovalev want this rematch as soon as possible.
I think so too. Apart from it being in his contract I would think Ward wants the rematch. If there isn't one, he'll continue to get criticized for need I say a controversial decision. If he prevails in the rematch he'll silence all the naysayers.

I thought it was in the contract that the rematch couldn't be in Oakland or Russia. hopefully it's an immediate rematch...it's warranted. I bet kovalev will have to take short money tho.

Ward is the A-Side with all the belts now, kovalev and Duva will have to say yes to whatever Ward says, and hope Kovalev can stop Ward
