So...... What about that Gvodzyk fight?

    Boxed Chilemba's hears off actually.

Did much better than Kovalev, as I expected, him being the best boxer and all...

What did you think of that fight?

Only watched half so far but he looked well in control. Probably a better stylistic match up for Gvozdyk than it was for Kovalev.

Yeah, I know, fight math isn't my thing but I still think it was interesting.

Also took Mohameddi much faster then Kovalev and in much more dramatic fashion.

Honestly I wasnt that impressed. Beterbiev would maul him. He should fight Barerra or Fonfara.

It speaks volumes that Gvodzyk was able to stop Chilemba whereas the TOMATO KAN Krusher wasn't...

I didn't watch the first few closely but I got the impression that Chilemba was doing well until he re-injured his elbow. Did Gvodzyk look good because Chilemba was hurt?

I've aggravated my elbow before and it's far worse than hurting your fist.

He doesn't have enough power, he will face a guy (like kovalev or beterbiev) who realizes that and just starts walking through him.

                    I'm not impressed.
He is good, i love his straight punches, it reminds me of Veraphool, the great thai fighter that didn't have "tells" in his punches.
But besides that, he isn't that good, he has good movement, some pop, nice skills and decent speed.
The 2012 ukranian team was great and i rate them this way.
                    -Elite: Lomachenko and Usyk.
-World champs material: Berynchik and Khytrov.
-Maybe future contenders: Taras and Gvozdyk.
                    -Pavlo Ishenko.
