Our Standards for Punchers are wat too high.

Why do we always have a mindset that Punchers cannot out box boxers? Didn't Manny Pacquiao Debunked that Theory against Bradley and Many more greats against boxers.

    Why do we always.

"Punchers have to knock out boxers or else he gets out boxed yada-yada."

    or that

"Boxers are too slick to be out boxed and too smart because of the ring I.Q"

We are putting them so high in a pedestal that literally they have to kill the opponent in order to win a round.

    Only idiots thinks like that.

its like this agenda:"Kovalev by KO Ward decision" bull **** .i talked with 1 user about it,and defensive fighters are seen badly if they get hit(even if they fight back"

This mentality is giving us Bias opinion in scoring,Like "Kovalev didnt hurt Ward this round, its WWard round"

Regardless who won, this kind of mentality is seen often here.

"Yada yada Slick bruva doe" is probably some white boys talk ,they want to be black or some ****,i dont belive that Black people would talk like that.

If you're talking about Biggums and Hotep, they're both trolls. I've never heard the words "slick bruvva" coming from an actual black person.

Kovalev faded away in the second half of the fight. The was not much "punching" there.

Yup....I think Sauders-Eubank Jr is a great example....

BJS completely whitewashes six rounds and then the rounds get a little closer and suddenly Eubank Jr is "winning" ......

I don't know. Guys who trash Pacquiao's lack of KOs in recent years overlook the fact that he has been fighting rugged world class, iron jawed fighters who seldom if ever get knocked out by anybody. The guys he has been fighting including Mayweather all say he hits very hard.

It's actually the opposite. Whenever a puncher lands ANYTHING people tend to give him a round based on reputation.

This is utterly ridiculous. This is another ******ed NSB theory invented by posters that can't accept the fact the guys they like lose. There is no bias against punchers.

Guys like Manny and Kov can outbox guys like Bradley or a faded, shot Hopkins. They are not good enough to outbox Floyd or Ward over the course of 12 rounds.

I felt Kov won and boxed effectively until he got tired. Once he tired, he was outboxed. Watch Kov follow Ward around instead of cutting off the ring once he got gassed.

The better question is why fans of fighters like Manny, Kov, Loma, Wlad etc. have to come up with such immature, ******ed theories when these guys lose?

Lose like adults FFS! Stop being babies.

Clean and effective punching overshadows everything, it's that simple. I don't know why people like to complicate things.

Like you don't score a round against a defensive fighterbecause he gets hit once.

"Oh, the slick defensive fighter got hit with a punch...Round to Maidana."

omg IT's driving me NUTS in boxing. Or analysts that would say Eubank adjusted or Ward adjusted, and just have them sweep all of the later rounds??? It's like WTF. WHen the difference in the fight is so minor and the only adjustment made is not quit getting tagged as much, and not getting completely outboxed.

"ward adjusted" it's like when????? He adjusted and made the fight somewhat competitive after getting dropped and staggered by jabs...WTF. And that's enough to sweep rounds? and win the ****ing belts
