    >>> Kovalev gets outclassed in the rematch...

...Honestly, I think once Team TOMATO KAN Krusher sees a replay of the fight, they may think twice about the immediate rematch...

As long as Virg realizes that he sent his guy in w/ a dangerous gameplan and adapts, I think he'll have a more definitive win. I was like W.T.F... when I saw Ward's plan was to slip and counter while circling. That's cool on lower-level fighters, but Kov is way too strong and fast to gamble like that on. More movement and feints, as well as inside work will be needed to get far out in the lead, IMO.

Krusher is really confident now and that may hurt him if he actually believes he won so wide.

What if Kovalev pulls a move like Pacquiao in the Morales rematch.

The only problem is kovalev arguably has the better movement, the better jab, the better speed and better overall outside game. kovalev has the tendency to fall in with his right hand at times tho. The more ward gets the fight on the inside the better...that was the only place he had a clear advantage.

I'm going on record and saying that Kovalev wins the rematch Martinez-Williams II style.

What's a replay of the fight going to tell him that he didn't feel in the ring?

Kovalev doesn't give af, he knows he won and would fight again tomorrow.

Pacquaio ain't eat them burritos for him when he was turning into a super middleweight in between fights.

IMO Morales still had great moments in his career after the Pacquiao fights.

I believe kovalev won the first fight by 2 rounds due to knockdown and winning early rounds but ward definitely seemed to figure him out and was the better fighter going down the stretch... I do believe ward may have his number now and will clearly win the rematch

I think Ward's improvement had more to do with Kovalev tiring down the stretch, Kovalev is not a fighter that has to go the distance too often and there was a lot of clinching, holding and pulling which wears a boxer down.

When they were both sharp in the first half, it wasn't a contest. Kovalev was dominant.
