Could Open Scoring made the Kovalev-Ward fight more interesting?

It's already an interesting fight but could Open Scoring made the Kovalev-Ward fight more interesting?

    After 3 rounds:
    30-26 Kov
    30-26 Kov
    29-27 Kov

    After 6 rounds:
    59-54 Kov
    58-55 Kov
    59-54 Kov

    After 9 rounds:
    86-84 Kov
    85-85 !!! (even)
    86-84 Kov

Ward was never in the lead in any of the judges after 9 rounds...

    hmmnnn...

Maybe after hearing the 85-85 score, Kovalev could already figure out that the judges somewhat doesn't like his work.

He needs to work more in the last 3 rounds...
