I think Ward will win UD more decisively this time.

Hopefully Kovalev doesn't quit and give the fight away this time and makes it competitive to the last bell, Verg and Dre got in his head last time it wasnt a fair fight they made him feel all girly and insecure like his fans.

as long as Kovalev trained with an expert who knows about conditioning, Ward can't deal with his jab and sense of distance. Could conceivably go full marathon and make Kovalev impatient and make mistakes, but the way the last fight went, i doubt the judges will be eager to give him too much credit for that or face even bigger scrutiny.

I guess Barrera did in the Morales rematch.
Barrera-Morales as you said and Lewis-Holyfield 2. Not that i personally had Lewis losing but i thought it was very close and maybe the cards would have been closer if not for the controversy of the first fight.

Watching it live I had it 114-113 Ward. Just re-watched it and have it 115-112 Ward. There were 4 rounds that were so close they could have gone either way.

I don't understand how people claim this was a robbery. Did they miss all of Ward's jabs, hooks to body, and left hook on top? Kovalev was the aggressor but he wasn't doing any solid work. His best punches came in the first two rounds (******* jab in 1st round and right hand that dropped Ward in 2nd)

I wonder how much Harold Lederman's scorecard swayed viewers (116-111). He gave Kovalev 5 out of the first 6 rounds. Two of those could have easily gone to Ward (even Kellerman told him this). He also gave Kovalev round 9 which seemed like a clear Ward round. Again, Kellerman told him he disagreed with that round scoring.

kov is a great counterpuncher, has fast feet and hands. i expect him to cut off the ring more and go to the body more. ward has a great fast jab but he is too safety first.

i like kov by a clear and wide decision
