For as much **** was flying around here about Kovalev's camp being in turmoil, he came in very prepared for Ward.

Rd 4 to Ward. 39-37 AW

3-1 Kova ............................

4th round, Kov still leading with a stiff jab that is messing Ward up and throwing him off balance. Kovalev looking confident and comfortable and controlling the pace and momentum of the fight. Ward unable to do much. Kovalev winning the battle of the jabs and walks Ward back.

Big shot lands for Ward that rips Kovalev's head back. Time out called by the ref for dirty fighting. Warns them to keep it clean on the inside. Ward slowed Kovalev down a bit with taht shot and is nwo on the hunt. Ward is landing a lot of big shots in thsi round, the clearest Ward round so far due to this. Now ward rips him with a stiff jab. Ward seemingly timing and figuring Kovalev out in this round. Kovalev being a little careless in this round and Ward gaining the momentum. Probably a Ward round 3-1 or at best 2-2 so far if you give round 1 to Ward
