Round 1 kovalev patiently hunting stalking and moving Ward back.
Kovalev pushing the action again but Ward as always ever elusive and ducking under most shots then tying Kovalev up. Ward doing a lot of dirty infighting as they tie up after every encounter. Ward lands a big check left hook that's probably the best shot of the fight so far. Kovalev getting smothered badly on the inside and unable to land anything meaningful. Ward lands a big lead straight right. Definitely the most meaningful shots coming from Ward onto a sloppy Kovalev so far but Kov might of still won the round based on pure aggression
