Fighting at light heavy will shave years off of Ward's life

Regardless of whether you're on the side that believes he won or lost, I think we can all agree that he looked markedly smaller than Kovalev. He also is way slower than he was during his super middle days, which will allow bigger stronger opponents to land. His punches couldn't even budge Kovalev and with guys like Beterbiev,Stevenson, and Gvozdyk waiting in the wings he's swimming with sharks, while only having a pop gun to fend them off.

Sorry but the part about the punches is a complete lie. Kovalev was hurt and staggared by power jabs all night long, and the body shots were hurting him badly, there was even a body uppercut that lifted him off his feet and some body shots that turned his body around almost a complete one eighty.

The was also a left hook that almost dropped him, and a straight left that hit him so hard that Kovalev's head went through the ropes.

To claim that Ward's power was not affecting Kovalev is the most ridiculous thing ever.

Ward also got hurt by stiff jabs in the first two rounds and got KD, but I put that to him being inactive for a long time and then fighting sub par opposition on his return. Once he got used to that Light Heavy power, he took the punches with no problem whatsoever.

Look, I guess with a name like Sledgeweather, no doubt referring to pillow fist Floyd I can understand how the hilariously weak sh|t that Ward threw at Kov looked through your mong eyeballs.

This 👆I had Ward edging it,but even I was surprised by how weak his right hand is. I think Pernell had more power than Ward does.
