Anyone can look at that fight and know who won without even thinking. Kovalev was he aggressor, scored the KD and landed the more significant punches. And what did Ward do?

As usual, he clinched, tried to make it dirty and tried to throw Kov's game off. Kov had none of it and got dirty back with him when he had to and scored with jabs and right hands in the only meaningful punches of the fight, as the champion.

There is only one light heavyweight that matters and his name is Kovalev. Ward is yesterday's old garbage. SOB.

You can't give rounds to the aggressor just based on aggression alone. It has to be effective.

Kovalev was hitting air and getting countered. In one of the rounds he poured forward and landed 1 punch out of 10. Andre was slipping, spinning, and landing subtle shots. He frustrated him. He made him miss and then made him pay. He landed good body shots. There were periods in the second half of the fight where Kovalev looked lost.

There's no way Kovalev landed the more significant shots.

You've no idea of how to score a fight.
