Comments Thread For: Frank Warren Sees Big Things Ahead For Saunders, Flanagan

With a bumper year of boxing ahead, the stakes are very high for a number of our fighters set to be showcased on the A Little Less Conversation card at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on November 26. In particular, perhaps, for our two world champions putting their belts on the line in the Welsh capital.

Flanagan maybe, but Saunders ducked every good fight out there (Golovkin, Canelo, Rosado, Monroe Jr, and Andrade)

Flanagan is a superb fighter. Needs more recognition if you ask me.

Saunders wont beat GGG or Canelo in any way shape or form. I just can't see it...happy to be proven wrong!

Said it before with Saunders, his sole aim is to auction of his belt to the highest bidder, GGG or Canelo.

Anything else is rubbish. He doesn't need to stay in shape (and sounds like he isn't), and ring-rust is also unimportant - he knows he will lose anyway, he just needs to get that payday.

Only problem with his prime objective (auctioning the belt) is constant talk of pesky mandatories that might derail Plan A. So got to keep those guys at C grade level (Akawhoever) else the whole gravy train ends.

But at least the C grade guys require him to stay in shape to keep his belt-sale plan going.

Wish they would just strip him of the belt - then we would never have to hear about him again except as a his role as a gatekeeper - where he belongs.

Neither BJS or Flannigan are World champion's, they are however title holders (meaningless WBO at that) They both need to unify. Gary Russell Jnr makes sense for TF.

Flannigan gets beaten comfortably by both Linares and Garcia but he is one of the better lightweights out there. BJS, what can I say that everybody else hasn't already said. He should have been stripped. WBO belt, although it sees to get slagged off as meaningless, there are a number of top fighters holding it, so I wouldn't knock it - there are obviously some very average ones as well!!
