    He should get respect just for taking the fight win or lose. He gave the fans a fight that we all wanted to see. I heard GGG is in negotiations to fight Amir Khan next.

                I've always respected Ward. I've respected him before last night and still have the utmost respect for him now.

                With that said....He still lost last night.

                    I mean if someone didn't already have a lot of respect for Andre Ward they will likely never respect him. Awesome win and he fought his ass off to turn that fight around, but there are some people you just can't reach.

                            You have to admire the fact that Kovalev was his first real opponent in like 4 years and he managed to make it competitive.

                            I believe he lost, but he did make it competitive against a guy who was on a tear at 175.

                                I thought it was a good performance. He got up off the canvas, regained his faculties and won 4-5 consecutive rounds to give himself an opportunity on the cards.

                                Not quite Marquez vs Pacquiao 1 but commendable.

                                        After watching it twice I scored it either 7-5 Kov or 6-6 with Kov still winning due to the KD in round 2.

                                        Definitely a close fight and at best a draw but cant see how Ward won as many rounds as the judges gave him. Especially round 10.
