Is Carl Frampton a Shoo-in for FOTY?

I would've said the winner of last nights fight but the fight was razor thin and Ward's other wins this year are meh.

Quigg and Santa Cruz seems to be the best body of work unless I'm missing something blatantly obvious.

    Absolutely he's the FOTY year.

He beat two undefeated champions and beat them clearly.

Frampton gets my vote... He won 2 big fights in 2 different divisions vs 2 world class undefeated fighters

Well Ward has already had it, and I genuinely think Frampton's body of work is better so yeah I'd like to see Frampton get it.

I would still give it to Ward.

The reason the decision was razor-thin is because Kovalev is miles better than Santa-Cruz and Quigg. I think beating Kovalev is a bigger achievement than those two wins.

Frampton's win vs. Quigg was an ugly split decision that didn't earn him any acclaim. The Santa Cruz fight was great but Santa Cruz wasn't #2 P4P like Kovalev.

I think Pacquiao, Crawford, and Gonzalez will also merit consideration.
