The fight starts with Ward and Kovalev deeply embracing. The action starts and both look very tired and sluggish. Ward seems to have the slight upper hand for the first few rounds, although a couple of them can be disputed easily. Both guys are throwing lots of back hands which I do not understand

As the fight wears on both seem to have more energy. Kovalev and Ward seem to be fairly even swapping out the rounds. At the end of each round both guys properly walk backwards to their corner..

Near the end of the fight Kovalev seems to be really coming on. He is throwing back fists at Ward along the ropes until Ward starts smiling. Soon after smiling the ref starts counting down from 8-1 and Ward collapses suddenly. When Ward gets up he seems completely normal again and both finish the fight strong. Both guys then walk back to their dressing rooms backwards.
