I've seen inside fighting, that wasn't inside fighting. That's bull rushing hoping to get inside your opponents head and get him to start complaining.

Well, he might not had been able to fight on the inside but he WAS able to push Ward on to the ropes whenever they tangled up.

I do have a question though, I noticed that when Ward was trying to push Kovalev off of at times he couldn't and Kovalev was hanging on to the ropes. Is that allowed? Like in MMA you can't hang on to the cage.

Fight inside is what Gonzalez, Estrada or GGG did. Land a little punch after clinch and then go to middle and large distance is not fight inside

Got tired of hearing that Ward was "almost decapitated" here. Besides that KD in the second round, Kovalev didn't do nothing, landed way less punches, got outboxed and it was a Postol-esque performance from him

The punch landed on the string side, knuckles didn't strike. Ward was off balance if you ask me.
