    Ward vs Koval .."great"?

Good fighters good fight, not great fighters and not a great fight!

Both were extremely cautious and if jabs and a few follows makes for a great fan than your easily pleased.
The comments about Wards body shots made it sound like he worked the body for 10 rounds. Instead he threw maybe 12 body shots throughout the fight.
Neither man put his ba!!z down and went for the clear cut victory.
In close Koval held as much as Ward and they were happy to just clinch and have the ref work.

Don't start the BS that these guys are ATG, they are NOT!
They are good opponents for each other and they should be glad they have each other. They'll make more money with each other than apart!

I had the fight 6-5-1 and I hate even rounds, the knock down round added a point to Koval but it was a temple shot that had to with balance as much as anything, he was not hurt!

It's tough to call that a ppv experience but in these days of inactive fighters who are mostly hype it was good to see two top 3 light heavies fight. Congrates to both men........
not hardly a mark on either guy..............

The announcers should all be fired, lampshade has to be the worst ever, and I've been around for a while. hahahaha.....

great post ^ pretty much sums up my thoughts on it. Memorable moments in that fight were few and far between, a lot of the rounds just merged into one and there was about ten good punches other than jabs landed all night. Also think the abilities of both fighters have been slightly overhyped, it didnt look that amazing technically to me. Think people see what they want to see, they wanted it to be an amazing boxing exhibition so they were fixated on it being just that, despite the cold hard truth being that the fight wasnt really that exciting at all
