I will just state the FACTS here, nothing personal, can't be proven wrong I believe.
    COMPU-BOX
Absolutely Kovalev won according to the compubox reports/datas looking in terms of jabs and power shots with 116-111.
    JABS
Ward and Kovalev landed usually equal amount of jabs ecept one or two rounds, Kov's were lot harder that staggered Ward.
    POWER SHOTS
Kov's power shots were clean rights from the outside, Ward's were arm punches given to the ribs or body when clinching... Not like Oscar's smashing Floyd's ribs with one arm, Ward's were most of the time weak and unclean.
    EFFECTIVE AGGRESSION
Another fact here we have, except two or three rounds the Russian was the one pushing forth, the judges should have considered the fact that Ward was clinching excesively again and again, something that shouldn't help a fighter to win an 'even' round.
    KOV WAS THE DEFENDING CHAMPION
You know that "You must beat the champion decisively to win it".
    SO?
Just prove me wrong, I strongly believe Ward has lost decisively.

He won on the majority of respected boxing journalist cards, I don't agree with judging faces to score a fight but Kovalev had a point apart from a bit of likely tissue damage to his nose Kovalev was fine likely didn't need to pop into the hospital after that one.

Ward on the other hand bruises all over the face and this dude you know it bruises don't show as easily on light skin guys If Kovalev was marked up and bruised you'd spot it a mile away with his pale skin lol.

(no cry baby) I'm legit curious- because if Ward did legit win those rounds, then it was closer then I thought. but as of now, it's looking more and more like a robbery due to incorrect judging of those two rounds.

Anybody got good justification for Ward winning those two rounds?

I mean it's an absolute mockery to the human race to give Ward round 12.

Still waiting on somebody to justify Ward winning rounds 10 and 12: IF nobody can come up with how Ward won both of those rounds- then the general consensus should go down that Kovalev got robbed, because, well, those rounds, just one of them would of officially gave him the win.

Tell us how Ward won 7 rounds.

I already said it was a highly competitive fight, obviously this was a competitive fight of the highest class. But we're still waiting on your actual justification of Ward winning 10 and 12 (or anyone else). Not just saying that Ward won those rounds. Lol
Kovalev landed 13 and Ward 12 in round 12 according to combubox you dumb fuck. This whole thread is based on incorrect info.

I can say with surety that I can't give Kovalev a round after the 4th. Ward did better work on the inside/outside. Ward landed crisp head snapping jabs and punished sergey to the body. And oh yeah, Kovalev hit a lot of air after the 2nd round knockdown

Ward won the fight hands down
Not debating everything you said. It's all a fair enough opinion BUT how did you score round 10 for Ward? It was a huge reversal and actually makes Ward's resurgence in 11 seem even more incredible.

In no way could you fairly give round 10 to Ward. I'd accept pretty much any other round after 1 and 2 as they were close enough or obvious Ward wins but round 10????

          Not a chance.

That's my major issue with the judge's score cards.

Ward lands a blazing two punch combo and uppercut at 2:54 mark. Ward lands a body shot at 2:45. Kov lands a jab at 2:35 mark. They exchange jabs at 2:20. Ward lands a BIG overhand left at 2:10. Follows with two head snapping jabs at 1:51 and 1:48 mark. Kovalev responds by hitting air. They exchange jabs at 1:34. Ward with a nice jab to the body at 1:27. Ward with a HUGE check hook at 1:07 mark. They exchange overhand rights at the :49 second mark. Ward with a HUGE power jab at the :39 second mark, followed by a big overhand right to the kidney's at the :32 second mark. They exhange jabs at the :29 second mark. They exchange jabs at the :20 second mark. Kovalev lands air for the rest of the round

            Ward round

All Kov did was land a jab at the 2:35 second mark. HBO said he landed an overhand right, replays showed that was a lie.
